2020

In late 2020, Bullshark was founded as a one-man operation. We grew to a team of 3 personnel by the year’s end, managing a small portfolio of anchor clients, each of whom are still active clients today.

2021

In January 2021, the agency moved into its first official offices. The first 6-months of the year were earmarked by rapid growth and driven aggressively through our specialisation in e-commerce marketing. Over the year, our client portfolio became home to several industry-leading brands in the Maltese market, paired with the acquisition of our first client operating in international markets.

2022

We successfully consolidated our position as a leading agency on the local scene, acquiring a client-base in excess of 150. This was met with the growth of our international client-base, including brands across the USA, EU, Africa, and Australia. Additionally, we invested into the development of our tech unit, ushering in a new chapter for the agency’s value proposition.

Sam founded the agency as a one-man operation in May 2020, growing the agency to a multi-disciplinary team of professionals in the space of just over a year. Through continuous research and optimisation, Sam continues to consistently improve Bullshark’s value proposition – offering the market a fully integrated model built for the digital age – whilst also managing Bullshark’s business development efforts.

Having worked at the world’s leading agencies, Ogilvy and Saatchi&Saatchi, Carmen embodies over 20 years of marketing experience at the highest of levels. She has successfully managed multiple billion dollar brands, such as BMW and Estée Lauder. Today, Carmen heads our entire operational functions, whilst overseeing the strategic direction across all client accounts.

Heading up DevOps and software architecture teams at industry-leading iGaming players, Ian’s tenacity is to deliver results-driven tech platforms that drive a competitive advantage. He eventually moved to the Head of Tech role at Red Acre, a prominent player in FinTech and related fields, where he was a key person in the company’s growth to 200+ person team in less than 5 years.
